I have known Mary both professionally and personally for many years. She has impeccable standards and dedication that is evident in the service she provides for her clients. She approaches her professional life as she does her personal life with passion and commitment."
Mary Crane defines the word "professional". and her integrity and loyalty to her client base is beyond reproach.
It is, indeed, an honor to recommend Mary Crane. Plus, she is one hell-of-an equestrian!
Royce Bemis, Land Broker
We were so lucky to find Mary! She exceeded our expectations in dealing with us and potential buyers. She has years of experience and it shows in the way she deals with getting our house marketed and sold quickly. We could not be happier with Mary and would recommend her to anyone.
Cooper Noone, Needham, MA
Mary has been terrific. She is extremely sensitive to her client's wishes. This quality coupled with her relaxed, consistent "we can do this" attitude makes working with Mary reassuring and fun. Her skill as a successful realtor is unsurpassed. I feel fortunate to have found her!
K.M.P. Wellesley, MA
We first used Mary to help us find a rental home, we then used her to help us buy a home and after receiving a job transfer we used her again to sell our home. It was especially important to us to use someone we could trust to sell our home since we had already moved out and were 3 time zones away. She is very good with being present for all showings and inspections to make sure everything proceeds properly. I recommend Mary for any real estate transaction
Patrick Duff, Natick MA
As part of a complicated real estate situation we called Mary to sell two properties at the same time, knowing we would end up living in which ever property did not sell. We cannot say enough about her. She is enormously well respected and connected in the broker communities, knows the towns she represents intimately, she always returns phone calls and emails immediately, and was an aggressive and creative marketer on our behalf. She has an amazing upbeat attitude and in is a great partner to have, regardless of which side of the transaction you might be on. My husband and I have, and will continue to recommend her whenever we're asked for the name of an outstanding broker.
Cindy Connelly, Sherborn, MA
Mary was exactly what we needed to sell our house. She was professional and intelligent. Her recommendations were right on the money and she was able to show our home and attract the right buyers in a very short time-frame. I would recommend Mary to anyone. She's as good as they get!
J. Quinn, Dover, MA
Mary Crane was just fabulous in recognizing what we wanted and needed when moving from a large to smaller home.....She was sensitive and intuitive to all our needs and I was very pleased with the entire process not to mention she is such a pleasure to work with...Always with a smile!
Tracy Brent, Dover, MA
Mary is a conscientious, skilled, and attentive real estate agent. Astute and knowledgable about the local areas, easy to work with, energetic and a skilled negotiator. We listed our house with Mary a few years ago. Throughout the process, she was attentive, made several helpful suggestions and was knew the market, the clientele both loclly and throughout the region. The photographs taken of our home inside/out where professionally done and displayed our lovely home beautifully. She is highly respected throughout the community and always gives her clients her very best efforts. We would highly recommed Mary !!
K. Goodfellow, Dover, MA
Our experience with Mary was fantastic. She was extremely responsive and sensitive to all our concerns. She offered practical advice about how to prepare and list our home. She balanced encouragement with realistic feedback. She worked well with our hectic schedule as we were preparing to move out of state. Her professionalism, skill, and friendliness with us and with interested parties yielded successful results. I would highly recommend her (and I have).
Jeff Long, Needham, MA
Mary Crane sold our house in five days. What more need I say!!
Mark Hampton, Dover, MA
Mary is not only a great realtor, she's a fantastic person who is extremely attentive to her client's needs while also respectful of one's personal decision-making. Mary made such a positive first impression on us that when it came time months later to look for a house we instantly thought of her. She's very experienced, extremely easy to work with and always focused on the important facts of home buying, which made us feel as though we were in good hands. We highly recommend Mary Crane!
Kevin Huther, Westwood, MA
I have known Mary and her family personally since the 1970's, and have also used Mary's expertise during the purchase of my home in 2009.
I cannot recommend Mary highly enough. I wouldn't even consider going to another agent!
Susan Jackson, Dover, MA
Mary is a delight to work with. She is very calm and relaxed and knows the area really well. She understands how to get a deal done. Our family worked with her both buying and selling a house. She was our agent when we bought a house in Natick. When we had to relocate suddenly for business reasons, in the middle of winter, she helped check on the house and worked hard to complete the sale of the empty home n a slow market. Because of her integrity, we were able to trust her with the house, even though we were 3,000 miles away. I highly recommend Mary as an agent.
Kim & Patrick Duff, Natick, MA
Mary Crane is an excellent Real Estate Agent who is attentive, caring and knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of working with Mary at 153 Pine Street in Dover and have nothing but high praises for her work ethic and overall capabilities in residential real estate. First, she ensured that house was in tip top shape prior to marketing the home. She then worked literally 24/7 by meeting with prospective buyers early or late - didn't matter what time, she would be there. She also educated with and negotiated with prospective buyers to ensure the highest sales price possible. I was extremely pleased and would refer her to my best friend.
Dan Gollinger, Dover, MA
Mary was a pleasure to work with throughout the process of buying a home. I've worked with many other brokers in the past and can unequivocally state that Mary is the best I've worked with. Her professionalism, knowledge of the market and responsiveness made everything flow very smooth and stress free. Even after the sale had closed Mary continued to assist me with her local knowledge in setting up services at the house. On top of all this she was a lot of fun to work with!
J. Cincotta, Dover, MA
Mary Crane is a highly skilled professional with uncompromising integrity and an amazing personal touch in everything she does or says. She works smart and hard, starting from the early stages of searching for a home and supports her clients through the entire process leading to the closing. She is always going the distance to satisfy the customer and has the resources and connections to help people settle in immediately after the move. I was specifically impressed by her support with a very demanding situation in which the bank had delayed the closing due to limited resources in the face of overwhelming demand. She diplomatically reached to the seller to assuage rising emotions until the closing was finally at hand. I strongly recommend Mary to anyone who is searching for superior service, an uncompromising work ethic, and above all, results. Best Regards, Romeo Filip

I have had the pleasure of working with Mary on numerous business and sales transactions for many years. From the perspective of a real estate conveyancing attorney, I am always delighted (and often relieved) when I know Mary is part of the transaction team. I know I can rely on Mary to be prepared for any eventuallity, to zealously represent her client and to engage all parties with professionalism, efficiency and a smile. Mary is one of, if not THE, best realtor I have worked with over the past 27 years of my legal practice.

Mary has extensive knowledge about the nuances of the Dover and Wellesley residential real estate market. She is unfailingly personable, trustworthy and diligent in carrying out her responsibilities as a listing agent. Despite a tough market, she never gave up and worked to procure a local buyer who came to embrace the house due to Mary's enthusiasm and knowledge. Anyone looking to buy or sell a high end home in the Dover/Wellesley markets should seriously consider retaining Mary Crane as their broker. They won't be disapointed!
Chris Kelly, Dover & Wellesley MA
Mary Crane is a miracle worker. We told her our dream, to live in Dover, and she made it come true. She sold our Newton house at the bottom of the market, literally. The house went on three days before the market crashed in October, 2009 and as of her expertise and experience, she brought a client of hers to see it and sold it! The end result was happiness for our family and the buyer's.
Whenever presented with a "problem," Mary Crane always has a solution and resolves it. She is the hardest working person I know and is absolutely flawless in what she does. We will not buy another home without her! (However, since she so perfectly matched our family to our home, we have no reason to move, ever.)
Mary Crane is bright as sunshine, kind, and caring. Our kids and dogs adore her, too. And now, happily, she is a friend-- a great one to have!
Chuck & Cathy Maker, Newton MA
Mary's abilities are boundless. She has represented me as a buyer, as a seller, and as a landlord. In every instance she has exceeded my expectation. The best complement I can offer is that her thoughtful demeanor and attention to detail are unmatched in my experience with realtors. Regardless of the situation, Mary will work assiduously on your behalf.

Mary - Thanks to you, I am now the proud owner of my "dream house" in Needham. With 3 bidders competing for the house after only 3 days on the market, your knowledge of the market, strategic persistance and outstanding negotiating skills were the key to our success in securing this outstanding property. I look forward to working with you again in the near future!
Mary Kelly, Wellesley & Needham MA
In a tough market, Mary Crane took on my $1.35 M new construction listing and developed a creative action plan.
Through her persistence and diligence, she sold my property for over asking price in a multiple bid situation!
I would highly recommend Mary as she is professional, straight forward, very accessible and does a thorough job from start to finish. Her marketing is like no other realtor I know of.
Bob Fredette Needham MA.
Mary: Your hard work on my listing has been amazing. I've been involved with real estate for almost 50 years and I'm not just trying to be flattering when I say I have never known such a hard worker, a person who 100% puts her customers' interests ahead of her own. Do you work 24/7 or does it just seem that way?

The newly built, 6,900-square-foot house on Farm Street in Dover is not a McMansion. In fact, when landscaping has matured in a few years, it might be pretty hard to tell when the house was built.
A couple of years ago when local real estate developer Christopher Kelly of Insight Partners Inc. in Newton was contacted by Mary Crane of Century 21 Commonwealth about a small carriage house on two acres on Dover's most desirable street he couldn't resist the opportunity to create something there.
"Having the chance to build something on Farm Street was a wonderful and challenging opportunity," he said. "That's an exclusive neighborhood in the horsey end of town, and I wanted to be sure I built something that would blend into the existing landscape."
Construction of the classic New England farm house was completed a few weeks ago. The house is set on a hill and is adjacent to acres of conservation land. The Charles River separating Dover from Sherborn is just a stone's throw away. Well-planned masonry is stately and the large wrap around farmer's porch is inviting.
The interior is roomy and comfortable. Colors including soft green, buttery gold and pale blue are contrasted by white woodwork and hardwood floors.
"It wasn't easy designing this house because we're not sure what its owners will want -- or what their style will be, so we just went with a classic look that leaves room for a lot of opportunities," said exclusive listing broker Mary Crane of Century 21 Fine Homes & Estates.
"It's a beautiful home of the highest quality. Very traditional and understated," Crane said.
On the first floor, a family room with fireplace and built-in entertainment center is adjacent to the breakfast room and kitchen beyond. The kitchen has everything a chef could want: granite counters, Sub-Zero fridge, Wolf stove, two dishwashers, warming draw and pull-out spice racks.
A cherry-paneled library is decidedly more formal, as is the living room, which is adorned with columns and has a fireplace. In the dining room white wainscoting, tray ceiling, wall lamps and pass-through wet bar add to the natural flow for entertaining.
On the second floor there are four bedrooms and a master suite consisting of a large bedroom with fireplace, dressing/sitting room, walk-in closet and his-and-hers bath.
The third floor offers a large bonus room. Already carpeted and painted, this space can be configured to suit anyone's needs. It also has a full bath and dormer windows with bench seats that keep it bright.
In addition, the house has a basement large enough to accommodate a lap pool and a heated three car garage,

Thank you for all of your help. We love our house, the neighborhood and the town of Needham.
Thank you again!

Now that everything has successfully closed, I wanted to write to thank you enormously for doing such a great job for me. I was thinking that what impressed me the most when you handled my first transaction (renting a suburban investment property) was exactly what you have consistently delivered since then; a commitment to do whatever it takes. It seems to me that in this world of do-it-yourself real estate web sites and an abundance of realtors, you have really distinguished yourself in my mind (as well as others). I'd be happy to act as a referral for you if that would be helpful and I am sure that we will be working together on many more transactions. In fact, I'm starting to put together some numbers now for a property on the waterfront and will be able to discuss it with you soon.
